I thought we could continue our discussion about holiday traditions, today! Can I just say this is by far my FAVORITE time of year!!! I love the coziness, smells, spending so much time with family and friends, all the pretty decorations and the FOOD! (By the way, we got our first snow last night…I don’t know how I feel about that?)
Certain foods can cause a multitude of emotions for most people ( myself included), especially those dishes that we only get during the holidays. For our family we only have turkey once a year (maybe twice if we have it for Christmas, too) and the special side dishes like stuffing, corn casserole and green bean Casserole make only a couple of appearances throughout the year. Most of the time when are making these dishes it’s for a large group of people, so the quantities are always MASSIVE. 😉 I do a lot of shopping at Sam’s Club this time of year!
Sam’s has great website perfect for finding new recipes and twists on old ones to use all the leftovers you have after the BIG meal. I love how there are so many options to mix and match all the leftovers. This site will boost my holiday recipe library, for sure!
