This past weekend was another long and packed one!
Friday, I spent the day on the golf course for the Hands of Hope 100 Holes Golf Tournament. It was a long day, but we had fun and I’m still standing. ;) It was worth every minute, because we reached our goal and so many families and lives will be impacted by my very small sacrifice!
Saturday, we had birthday parties, picked-up Grammy from the airport, and had a marathon dance rehearsal. Literally! We were there for over 5 hours and Madelyn was a CHAMP. She had a smile on her face the entire time and said she “just had to dance to the songs.” {I’m smiling just thinking about how precious she was!!} I, on the other hand, was fidgety about an hour in…thank goodness for smart phones and a patient Grammy.
And since I’m not a seasoned stage mom, I forgot about hair! Here we are trying to get her hair in a pony tail quick.
The girls were SO excited to get on stage and they all watched through the doors as the early show rehearsed.Sunday was just as busy with church, buying a new washer (more on that later), and finally the recital. We remembered the hair, this time. She looked so old walking to the theater with her hair up and dance bag.
A curtsy after the performance.
And to top it off, she was so excited to get a trophy!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Angela
