Are you a renter or homeowner who loves the look of wallpaper but don’t something permanent? Check out this great tutorial for using starched fabric as a wall treatment! Sara from sincerely, sara d. is sharing just how easy it is to hang a “wallpaper” that won’t damage your walls and looks amazing!
Totally Awesome Idea Love it ❣️ Can you use any material such as 100% cotton ?
Sandy, you can but I would just make sure it’s pre-shrunk!
I’ve had excellent results using fabric as wallpaper. The advantages are that it is much easier to handle than paper. Most fabric is wider than paper so there is not as much matching of patterns. I used 60 inch width found in the “home” fabric selection. Purchasing by the bolt can also be less expensive. I’ve covered walls with polished cotton and a heavy denim fabric. I used wallpaper glue.
Forgot to mention that I did not prewash the fabric I used but I expect prewashing it would likely ensure your success.
It’s really a useful tip to be able to refurbish the house to look more beautiful and brighter soccer random.
