On Saturday I hosted a party for two close friends. They were celebrating the launch of their new website The Curriculum Corner with friends, family, and co-workers. The site is designed to give free resources to teachers for grades K-3rd, so we decided to use all the things you associate with teaching for our theme…apples, chalkboards, books, and maps. (I had to involve a little Fall too.)
Just a little warning: there are LOTS of pictures.

Since it was outside I hung lots of lights and made an arch entry out of branches.
We used lots of green apples for the centerpieces. There will be several fresh apple pies made this week!
I used an old store display for the favors. I think these were my favor-ite part of the entire party. {I couldn’t help myself!}
The party started at 7, as the sun was setting. I love how all the lights added such a nice ambiance.
This was the only picture I got of the deck area. Since I slowed down the shutter speed so much, people are really blurred but you can get an idea of the whole area.
I didn’t make any of the food or drinks for the party. That was left to other people…I’m learning to let go, sort of.
I slowed down for a few minutes to taste the Appletini. Complete with caramel drizzled in the glass…I’m not generally a martini fan but these were delicious!
After everyone left the three of us hostesses finally got together for a picture.
I was such a fun evening!
I will be doing a post in a few days with all the details. It’s going to take me a few more days to recover! 😉

This teaching-themed party looks amazing—so creative and perfect for celebrating such a special launch! I’ve been working on some college assignments lately, and it’s been a bit overwhelming. I found a great resource for help with tasks at https://paperdon.com/, and it’s been of a great help. Now I can focus more on enjoying fun events like this one.
