If you are hosting a holiday meal, I don’t want you to stress about the table! You can do a very simple table and still have it just as special.
Here are some quick and EASY things you can add to your table:
1. Herb wreath
These take just a few seconds to make and are so cute.
Start with an herb sprig. I used rosemary but things like thyme or marjaram that have very small leaves will work. You can find freshly cut herbs in the salad section of the grocery store for a few dollars.
Gently bend the sprig into a circle and tie with twine. Just be sure to overlap the ends slightly.
2. Printed napkins
These are a lot easier than you might think! To make them you will need paper napkins and a printer.
Use an editing program, I used Microsoft Word, and type the name in the font you want. For Word users, go to the top right under the FILE tab and select PAGE SETUP. Change the dimensions of the page to the size of the napkin.
Open the napkin so that it is longer and will feed through the printer without getting jammed, then PRINT.
(Please ignore the dust on top of my printer! 😉 )
Repeat for each person.
3. Craft paper table runner.
I love using craft paper on the table because it makes for a quick clean-up! To see some of my other craft paper runners, click here or here.
4. Make a simple centerpiece.
I always buy poinsettias this time of year and clip flowers from my plants to put around the house. They make for a beautiful centerpiece, too! You can also pick up an expensive bunch of flowers from the grocery store. I have a tutorial for store bought flowers, here.
Just a few very simple and easy things can make any table special for you guests!!
