Today, I am so happy to get to share another blogger and friend with you (because as they say around here, blogging friends are real friends.) Â She has some major skills, people! Â (I only wish I could sew like her.) Â Among her sewing ability is also great style, amazing thrifting abilities and a rock solid faith. Â What’s not to love!?!? Â So with all that said, let’s meet her shall we?

Hi! I was so excited when Angela asked if she could feature my blog. I met Angela last summer at Horton’s French Flea Market where she had a booth. I loved her set up and her wares. I snapped some pics of her and her booth, bought some glass milk cups from her, and pocketed a business card. And since then we have connected through our blogs! Yay for blogging 🙂
My name is Jill Flory and I am the ‘One Who Sews’ – and designs and dreams and decorates. I have been sewing since I was about 8 and it’s been a part of my life ever since. I also refluff and redecorate my house – often. I always change things up seasonally. Bringing home thrifted or vintage finds is a great way to jump-start a re-fluff.
My vintage typewriter is one of my favorite finds and at $20 it was a steal! You can go here to see more photos of my typewriter. And you can see it decked out for Christmas here.
My dining room is probably my favorite room, at least for now. It pretty much has all the components it needs to make it look like I want it too! I would love to paint the china hutch that is on the wall to the right side of this table but my hubby is dragging his feet about letting me do that. You can see more of this room here.
My living room is still in an unfinished state. The trim around the windows has been put up now – YAY! Baseboard still to come and I have old shutters that will be added as my window treatment! I cannot wait to have it all finished. You can see more of this room here and here. You can also browse the Decor link on my blog for more of my decor blog posts.
I think my grain sack camera straps have been one of my favorite projects. They all sold in my etsy shop before Christmas and I need to get some more made 🙂
Another favorite project was Re-dressing this chair.
And many many more if I get started! LOL! You can go to my ‘Stitched’ link to see all my sewing projects that I have blogged about.
Above all else, I want everything I do to glorify God and I pray I can always be a witness for Him. May your day be blessed, your projects go smoothly, and may you find the inspiration you seek!
Thanks again Angela, for having me over! I’m so honored!
