These Red Velvet donuts are so good…especially topped with cream cheese icing!! They are the perfect combo of cake and donut.
Who doesn’t LOVE donuts? Honestly, they are one of my biggest weaknesses…I will take a donut over a piece of chocolate any day. (All you chocoholics are probably screaming at my me right now!) My other love is cake, so why not mix the two?? These Red Velvet donuts fit the bill for both. They would also be great for Valentine’s Day.

- 1/2 Cup cocoa powder

- Add in the food coloring.
- Stir in the flour and salt until mixture thickens and the dough starts forming.

- Remove from oven and let cool.
- Prepare the topping by blending together the cream cheese and powdered sugar with a hand blender.
- Slowly work in the milk, stop blending, and whisk until mixture thickens.
- Dip donuts into the glaze and let sit for a minute.
Serve and enjoy!
Tip: For extra moistness add in 2 Tbs of Greek yogurt.
