As you know, I’ve been traveling a lot lately. Which means not a lot of time for any type of home improvement or DIYing. So, in it’s place I will share some of the pictures I took from my last trip {for a while!}.
A day and a half after we got back from the Bahamas, my girls and I packed the van and headed to Pennsylvania. My mother-in-law lives there and it’s also an area that we lived in for about 3 1/2 years.
It was a very early morning! And we were on the Turnpike by lunchtime…
It got really foggy, once we got on the back roads of PA.
We passed through Gettysburg, and although I’ve been there numerous times, I realized just how pretty it was. So we stopped for a few quick pictures {through the windows}.
One of my favorite shops for inspiration, is the French Collection in Adamstown, Pa. They import everything from France…i.e. WAY out of my price range. 🙂
There are so many great antique stores in Adamstown.
And I always love seeing this at the Farmersville Auction, in Farmersville, PA…
Wednesdays, there is a farmer’s market and flea market in Leesport. There are always such fresh fruits and vegetables from surrounding farms and great flea market goodies.
Birch beer is very common here {I had never heard of it until I moved there!}…
Before I headed home, I went to Lancaster, PA {where we lived} to check out some thrift and antique stores. Building Character was a really cool place…if you’re ever there, check it out! 😉
I got back home Sunday night, and starting Monday morning I have been working like a crazy person on all my finds. Here are a few of the berry baskets I bought. Cleaned and drying in the sun…
And a sneek peak at more to come…
Hopefully, I will see a few of you again this year at Horton’s!?!

I also had a road trip to the state of Pennsylvania. I especially liked the city of Philadelphia, one of the oldest cities in the United States, but very interesting in terms of tourism, where I rented a van and started my journey around the state. I also liked Presque Isle State Park, a very beautiful place that I definitely recommend visiting more info
