It’s Day 2 of Halloween Week!!!
Kids LOVE crafts and most want to decorate for Halloween so why not combine the two in a non-messy way?!? (Carving pumpkins is fun but takes patience and requires a lot of cleanup!)
Supplies: small pumpkins, screwdriver, hammer and any hardware you can find! (I found all of mine in my box of miscellaneous “stuff”… leftovers from projects.)
You will probably have to help the kids get some of the screws and things started, but they were surprising VERY good at it.
A bonus to this craft is that it helps with their fine motor skills! 😉
The kiddos were so creative and the pumpkins turned out even better than I imagined.
(This project idea was borrowed from my brother-in-law’s mother.)

What an incredibly great stupendous idea. The pumpkins look so great, love the industrial look they gave them. Very good for their hand/eye co-ordinations and using their imaginations. Kids are so adaptable. Love to watch them figuring things out. They sure did a great job. Did you get to do any of those pumpkins. Not fair kids having all the fun. Happy week
