I am so excited to finally have some “down” time. (It’s really a very busy time, but I am feeling a little more relaxed because the craft fairs are behind me.) So, today I spent time doing some things for myself.
I had a bunch of decor left over that didn’t sell, and instead of just finding a place to store it, I decided to use it throughout my house. The bad news is, I have fallen completely in LOVE with some of the pieces…antique framed mirror, to be exact.
I decided that I wanted a more subdued color pallet this year. It will be mostly creams, whites, and silver with pops of red.
I wanted to also show you a quick project I did. I always like to use the word “JOY” during the holidays, I think it such a pure word. I had seen it done in large letters in Ballard, and kept thinking about it. While at a craft store one day, I saw these and decided to make it happen! 😉
Don’t you see it??   With my mitter saw, I just chopped off part of the U and the line in the Q. Then I sprayed them with a metallic silver spray paint and sprinkled them with glitter.  It took all of 10 min. The better news is, they were on sale for $3 a piece.
My living room is coming along and I have started working on the dining room. It needs some serious help!! I will continue to update you on the progress.
I just wanted to remind you about the giveaway. It ends tomorrow morning.
