I can’t even begin to explain how GOOD it feels to be home. It was really nice to spend the holidays with our family, but after three weeks….there’s nothing like HOME! I am slowly getting back to life and reality. I walked into my house to find all my Christmas decor still up and staring back at me, not to mention a car full of “stuff” and laundry.
We got back late Wednesday and I am finally feeling somewhat caught up. My laundry is mostly clean (that task is never completely finished because the minute you think you have washed everything someone changes!) My Christmas decor is packed and put away and I have caught up on my financial matters. It took me hours to just go through mail and pay bills!
So…since this aspect of my life has been seriously neglected, I promise to get back to blogging.
I had been meaning to share a visit I had with my friend Michele from Imperfectly Wonderful World blog and she beat me to it, so check our her blog post about our time together. Michele is a dear friend and I am so blessed to have her in my life. This summer her and her family visited for a week and we realized that we were both obsessed with blogs. She gave me the confidence I needed to start this one and I am glad she did!
Thanks, Michele!
My house is bare with all the Christmas decor gone, so this week I will working on my blank canvas of a home! I look forward to catching up on all of your blogs and if you are reading this…thanks for sticking around mine!

Awwww! Thanks for sharing, friend! I’m so glad you made it home and are getting back into a routine. We had a snow day on Monday and a late start on Tuesday because of all of the snow we got on Sunday. So crazy! I’m so happy everything worked out for our visit to happen. I had such a good time seeing you. I’m about to repaint the ugly green shelf we found at the flea market. You’ve inspired me! Wish we could hang out more 🙂
