So, I’ve been really wrestling with this post. BUT, I know it’s something that I need to do. Please bear with me and feel free to move on, if this is something you are not interested in.
For those of you who are still with me, I want to start by saying that God has been urging me for over a week to write this and I’m finally being obedient! Here’s how this has come about…
I attend a very large church outside of Indianapolis and we have smaller groups that meet a couple of times a month. Our small group consists of six families, two of whom I’ve known for a few years. One of these families is very involved with orphan and adoption ministries. They have an adopted daughter from Guatemala and are currently trying to adopt another child. They have such a passion for this ministry, that they helped start an organization called Hands of Hope.
This ministry is making a difference all around the world and changing lives in dramatic ways. For the past few years, they have been hosting a golf tournament as a way to raise awareness and money. It’s not just any tournament, there are 100 holes of golf to be played in one day. THAT SOUNDS CRAZY to me…so crazy and yet for some reason I decided to say “YES” I’ll play.
So, if you haven’t already figured it out I’m going to ask for your help. (That is why I’ve been struggling so much with this post.) We have a big goal to reach this year and we are still pretty far from the finish line. If we raise $30,000 our church, Grace Community Church, will give us another $10,000.
Here’s what I’m asking, please take a few minutes and post the link to this post on your Facebook page, twitter, send an e-mail to a friend, whatever you feel comfortable doing to help me spread the word. AND if you feel like this is something you would be interested in becoming a part of, I would love for your sponsorship. The way it works, is there are 100 holes and you sponsor per hole. Nothing is too small or insignificant when it comes to what God wants to do through you.
Our goal seems overwhelming to me, but I know nothing is impossible with God!
“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9
I’m just trying to do what HE has aksed of me and be his hands and feet. (As uncomfortable as it makes me! 🙂 )
Here’s the link if you would like to give:

There’s a button on the right side, “Sponsor Me Now”, that makes is super easy. And all the expenses associated with tournament have been taken care of, so anything you donate will go straight into Hands of Hope and help change lives and families.

Now that I’ve told you about what I’m doing, I thought as a “Thank You” I could do a giveaway.
If you support me in any way {posting on any form of social media, through your blog, giving financially or just praying that God will meet the needs of this organization} leave a comment at the end of this post just saying:
“I’m supporting Hands of Hope!”
And as a thank you, I’ll choose (randomly) one person to send this bag to.
***You don’t have to give financially to enter, just pass the word along! :) ***
OH and by the way, I’m the first and only woman to play in this tournament! I’m just say’in, it would be great to kick some booty! 😉
The tournament is next Friday, so I will be closing the giveway next Thursday., April 26th.
Thanks for sticking around, I love you guys!
