If you ask my family and friends what my favorite food is they will all in unison tell you, “PIZZA!” If it was socially acceptable (or if calories didn’t count) I could/would probably eat if for every meal. I mean, it does have 4 food groups in each bite! There was even a time I ordered a kid’s meal on a cruise (in the dining room) just because I wanted pizza…pathetic I know!
My opinion is that there are so many different brands and restaurants (not to mention the combination of toppings) that each one tastes uniquely different. If I’m being completely honest, I’m pretty boring in the topping area. I could stick with just pepperoni and cheese and be completely happy! Please don’t stop reading my blog because of how extremely boring my food tastes are! :/
Well, with this polarvortex thing happening, leaving the house seems so daunting…. the kids have already missed so much school that I’m afraid we are going to be in school until the middle of June, school has only started before 11 am twice since December 20th, and the current temp is -2 (30 degrees colder than Juneau, Alaska!) I would LOVE to order a pizza while we are stuck here but the thought of having the delivery guy/girl get out of their car and wait at the door while pay, seems so cruel.
So we are cooped up yet again, as we let our faucets drip so not to freeze, and spending the day in our pjs (because that’s what you do when you don’t planning on leaving the house all day!). I stopped by the store last night in anticipation for another day at home and picked up some food for the next few days…you guessed it, PIZZA was on the list. AND since we eat SO much of it, I thought we could try a new kind that is all natural and made with real cheese, no preservatives. Have you ever tried Home Run Inn pizza?
It’s one of the best frozen pizza I’ve had! (You don’t have to take my word for it. Consumer Reports consistently ranks it #1, and it’s Chicago’s number one selling frozen pizza brand…I’m just say’in.)
So as we laze about the rest of the day, we will enjoy our pizza and play some games. Who doesn’t love a good game of Sleeping Queens?
I know I can’t be the ONLY one obsessed with a certain type of food!? (Some of you pregnant women out there probably know what I’m talking about.) What is your go-to food? If it’s pizza, have you tried Home Run Inn? (By the way, you can find it at Kroger, Meijer and Marsh stores.)

It’s like the go-to comfort food. I’ve actually started experimenting with making my own versions at home, and it’s been fun trying new ingredients. That’s kind of how I got into https://hellofresh.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html too—got tired of the same old takeout and wanted to mix things up without a ton of effort. Their meals are easy to make, and the ingredients are fresh, which is a win. If anyone’s been curious about food delivery options beyond pizza nights, definitely worth checking them out. And if you ever run into issues, their HelloFresh customer service was surprisingly helpful in my experience.
