I have never considered myself “crafty,” but everyone tells me I am…go figure!? So, I guess I’m finally coming to that realization. I do really enjoy a good craft, as long as it doesn’t look too much like I made it.
A few weeks ago I had gotten this cool wreath on sale, but didn’t have any plans for it. I was cleaning out my studio last weekend and came across a few fabric flower. I knew immediately what I would do with them. Crafty side? hmmm?
I don’t really like to commit to home decor in general, as most of you know I’m always changing things, so I wanted whatever I attached to be removable. I glued pins onto the back of the flowers and it made them very easy to attach.
The butterfly and glittered flowers was originally a brass wall hanging that I took apart painted, added glitter, and made into magnets. But as all things, they needed a change and I liked them on the wreath.
I think it’s a fun twist to a tradition wreath! {I bought all my flowers, which were not cheap, but you could easily make your own to save some cash.}
What craft have you done lately? Let me know, I just might try it!!
Today, I’m headed to the Country Living Fair and Springfield Flea Market for my annual trip. I look forward to this weekend every year. I’ll be back on Monday with pictures!!
