I’m so excited to share my home decorated for Christmas with you, as part of A Very Farmhouse Christmas Tour. If you follow me on Instagram, then you know that I kept it super simple this year. I didn’t get out all my Christmas decor boxes, but instead just used a lot of fresh greenery. It was really easy and I’m enjoying how cozy it feels. It will also be really easy to take down in January!
I’ll apologize in advance for this post….it’s going to be mostly pictures.
I bought four 20 feet of cedar garland and a large bunch of eucalyptus, then sprinkled it throughout the house. Tip: If you have a local Menard’s you should check out their garden center. I paid $8 a piece for the garland and $24 a piece for my trees…which is a steal!!
When I say simple, I mean SIMPLE! I didn’t even put any ornaments on the tree. I bought our tree wrapped up, so I couldn’t see what it looked like until I got it home on the stand. It’s a little wonky and small, but I don’t care…I’m embracing imperfect.
I always hang garland around a door for all my Christmas cards.
The day I took these pictures it wasn’t very sunny outside and I was fighting the light. However, this guy wasn’t making my job any easier either, so I decided to just add him to my tour. 🙂
He’s always right under my feet!
I made the wreath with a little bit of the cedar garland and then hung it with a Command hook. I share my favorite tools for decorating in this post.

So very pretty and thanks for the tip on Menards. I was just there yesterday and didn’t even think to go look at the garden center.

The prices on the garland is amazing! Wish I had a Menard’s nearby 🙂 Love that idea to clip Christmas Cards to garland.
