Well, I am on a mission to use every last inch of that crate! If you haven't seen what I have done so far, here's the link. Here is a REALLY easy table. It took me about 10 min, literally! I used a side piece from the crate and an old saw horse, I had. I cut the side piece to the dimensions I wanted and attached it to the saw horse with some decking screws. If your top is larger, you will have to add some supports. Just get some small "L" brackets and attach them ... Read More about Another Use for a Crate!

Outdoor Furniture Slip Cover
I wanted to change the look of my outdoor furniture, but did not want to have to make new cushions. I thought of a slip cover and using a painter's drop cloth. I bought a 9x12 drop cloth, I got it on sale for $14.99...LOTS of fabric for not a lot! I draped it over the love seat I was working with and cut a slit where I needed it and "ripped" down the side. This made the cut straight, without having to try to get it just right. This is how the "rip" will look. To make ... Read More about Outdoor Furniture Slip Cover
Outdoor Coffee Table
Today I decided to continue the theme of "Roadkill Rescue." I used some more reclaimed wood to make a coffee table for our outdoor space. I got a crate, probably used to transport bricks, and took it apart. This is the picture of the disassembled crate. I used a square and cut off the sides, to clean-up the sides. I had some old wheels that I attached to the underneath using 3" lag bolts. Easy peasy!! New coffee table, with character! You will have to look ... Read More about Outdoor Coffee Table
